Prof. Dr. Gjokë Uldedaj

Prof. Dr. Gjokë Uldedaj was born on March 3, 1959, in Shkodër, Albania. From an early stage, his academic interests were shaped by economics, market structures, and the role of policy in economic development. He pursued higher education at the Agricultural University of Tirana, where he completed his Bachelor and Master of Science studies in Economics and Finance in 1986.

His academic development continued with doctoral studies at the same institution, within the Faculty of Economics. In 1999, he earned the title of Doctor of Science (Dr.) with a dissertation focused on agri-food prices, market flexibility, and support policies in Albania, a topic that would later become a central pillar of his academic research and authorship.

In recognition of his scholarly contribution and teaching experience, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (Prof. As. Dr.) in 2004, followed by the title of Professor (Prof. Dr.) in 2024.

From 1989 to 2007, he served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Agricultural University of Tirana, where he taught a wide range of courses including Financial Audit, Marketing Basics, International Marketing, Agricultural Marketing, and Pricing of Agricultural Products.

Since 2016, he has been part of the academic staff of University College Qiriazi, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
